Movement, illustration and storytelling are at the core of animation practices. I am drawn into this world of bringing life to drawings and objects because they are intricably connected to Theatre and Puppetry. Through it’s simplicity, when life is given to the mundane, it allows for impactful and heartfelt stories. What might seem like entertainment for children actuallly becomes the most penetrable and effective tool for mirroring the world that we live in.
